Simple Gifts
An occasional concert series in Aztec
Simple Gifts is an occasional concert series, emphasizing folk music, organized and presented by Jane Voss & Hoyle Osborne. Most of the concerts take place in the Fellowship Hall of Aztec Presbyterian Church, at the corner of Church & Blanco Streets, one block east of the Aztec Museum.
The setting is intimate and informal. Coffee, tea, and homemade baked goods are served at the intermission. Aztec Presbyterian Church has been a wonderful and generous host for these concerts.
Such internationally-known touring artists as Rosalie Sorrels, Chuck Pyle, Paul Geremia, Margaret MacArthur, Bayou Seco, Steve Gillette & Cindy Mangsen, Linda Piper, Brassworks 4, Liz Masterson & Sean Blackburn, and Linda Allen have appeared in the series.
Please send us an e-mail if you would like to be added to the Simple Gifts e-mail list.

How to find the Fellowship Hall of Aztec Presbyterian Church:
It is at the corner of Church and Blanco Streets in downtown Aztec. One block east of the Aztec Museum and Pioneer Village.
If you are coming from Farmington, stay on the 4-lane highway (NM 516) up to the stoplight near the Safeway. Turn right (south) on US 550 (Aztec’s Main Avenue). Take the first left turn, Stafford Street, by the Mustang gas station and convenience store. Take the first right on Church Street. The Fellowship Hall will be on your right.
If you are coming from Bloomfield, stay on US 550 (Aztec’s Main Avenue) past the stoplight in the middle of town (at Chaco Street). Go north one more block, and turn right on Blanco Street. Aztec Presbyterian Church will be on your left, at the corner with Church Street.
If you are coming from Durango, as you come into town on US 550, you’ll see the Hiway Grill on your right (with the old car stuck up on a tall pole). Turn left on Church Street, in between the 7-2-11 and the Giant gas station. The Fellowship Hall will be on your right, about one block down

When we say “suggested donation,” we mean it literally. Many of our artists are internationally-known professionals who deserve ten times what we can pay them. But we don’t want anyone to miss a show just because they can’t afford it. Please pay what you can. If you can afford to help out a little more, that’s great, too.
